      Improve you Jumping with Carolyn Goldstraw.  Saturday 3rd March All standards and ages Welcome.   One hour sessions taking place between approx 10am and 1pm.  3 to 4 riders per group.   Different groups available dependent upon jumping level.

      Excellent set of jumps set on a large 60metre allweather arena.

      £12 members    £15 non members  ( legup membership £10)

      Please book on via email (or phone if not on email), at latest by Wednesday 29th February 2012.  Groups and times will then be allocated and notified via email (or by phone for those with no email) on Thursday 1st March.

      General Rules & Conditions of Entry

      1. Judges decision is final.
      2.  Any objections to be lodged within 15 minutes of class finishing with a fee of £20, if objection upheld the objection fee will be returned.
      3. Hard hats to current BSI standard with chin strap must be worn in all ridden classes and in in-hand classes by handlers 16 yearsU or under.
      4. No animal under 4 years to compete in ridden classes.
      5. Stallions will be allowed but must be handled or ridden by appropriate person in line    with current PUK rules.
      6. Whips – Except in clear round no whips to exceed 30inches
      7. Cruelty and anti social behavior will not to be tolerated we reserve the right to ask any such person to leave the grounds.
      8. 8.     The organizers reserve the right to combine or cancel classes if entry does not exceed 3 riders.
      9. No refunds for entry fees will be allowed.
      10.  The organizers/land owners accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury caused to any person, animal or property. You are advised to have your own insurance.

       

      Qualifier Details. 

       This Show is a qualifier for the Ultimate Showcase of Champions 4th & 5th August 2012 at Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate.  1st – 3rd will qualify for the nearest equivalent class, qualifier cards will be presented in the ring.

      15+ Horse & Pony Events To qualify for the 2012 National Supreme Showing Championship Show at Equifest, Peterborough the first, second and third place horse/pony in classes shown above will each receive a Qualification Card. To enter the National Showing Championship Show the rider/handler and horse/pony must register with 15+ Horse & Pony Events within 14 days of the qualifying show date.       Amateur Showing Society Summer Championship 4th & 5th August at Arena UK, Grantham, 1st to 3rd qualifier card will be handed out in the ring.  full details can be found at www.amateurshowingsociety.co.uk    If you are a member get your qualification card signed by the judge.  If you are not a member of the A.S.S. you will be given a qualification ticket, keep this safe, you now have 28 days to become a member to keep the qualification.  

      This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 15th – 19th August 2012.  The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify.” 

      Equifest Qualification cards will no longer be sent to the
      Show Secretary. Instead it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have
      a qualification card before entering the show and getting this signed by

      In classes 4 & 5 riders will be expected to jump then proceed straight to the adjoining ring to complete the confirmation/ridden phase.  Class 1 upon the completion of Jumping Section C flat/confirmation judging will take place.  Class 2 & 3 are judged on jumping only (no flat shows/ or confirmation marks.)

      Class 2 & 3 Method of Judging:

      • Each jumping effort will be marked out of 10 – at the judges discresion
      • There is no set penalty for a pole down or run out, but three refusals will result in elimination
      • There will be no mark awarded for conformation or manners, and no flatwork shows, but a mark will be awarded for the overall impression at the completion of each round – maximum of 20 marks

      • THE BSPS WINTER HERITAGE MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND OPEN / RESTRICTED RIDDEN CLASS

       

      Arena will then be split in 2 for classes 7-16

      ARENA  A  ( classes 7-16 all qualify for Amateur Showing Society Championships + selected classes qualify 15+ H&P events see qualifier info bottom of page )

      Class 12/13 are aimed at Inexperienced  riders or Novice Horses Only. Horse and rider combination not to have won 2 firsts in ridden showing/dressage, or 8yrs and under combinations not to have won 4 ridden firsts off lead rein. Riders may not compete on lead rein in this class, young riders if they wish may have a helper in the ring. (rosette to all competitors).Riders will only walk as a group and show walk and trot in their individual shows.

      LegUp  General Rules & Conditions of Entry

      1. Judges decision is final.
      2.  Any objections to be lodged within 15 minutes of class finishing with a fee of £20, if objection upheld the objection fee will be returned.
      3. Hard hats to current BSI standard with chin strap must be worn in all ridden classes and in in-hand classes by handlers 16 yearsU or under.
      4. No animal under 4 years to compete in ridden classes.
      5. Stallions will be allowed but must be handled or ridden by appropriate person in line    with current PUK or BSPS rules as appropriate.
      6. Whips – Except in clear round no whips to exceed 30inches
      7. Cruelty and anti social behavior will not to be tolerated we reserve the right to ask any such person to leave the grounds.
      8. 8.     The organizers reserve the right to combine or cancel classes if entry does not exceed 3 riders.
      9. No refunds for entry fees will be allowed.
      10.  The organizers/land owners accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury caused to any person, animal or property. You are advised to have your own insurance.

      To qualify for the 2012 National Supreme Showing Championship Show at Equifest,Peterborough the first, second and third place horse/pony in the following classes 8,11,15,16,17, 19,20,21 & 22 Will each receive a Qualification Card.       This show is a qualifier show for the B.S.P.S. WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS (Classes 1 & 6) To be run in accordance with the rules in the 2012 B.S.P.S. Rule & Show Hand Book.

      Ages for riders of Stallions. Riders must be 12 years or over on 1st January in the current year to ride any pony stallion not exceeding 138 cms. or Small Breed stallion i.e. Dartmoor,Exmoor, Shetland & Welsh Section A & B. Riders must be 14 years or over in the current year to ride any stallion exc. 138 cms. or Large Breed stallion, i.e. Connemara, Dale, Fell,Highland,New Forest and Welsh Section C & D.

      Rules for Novice Qualification in the BSPS Heritage WHP ponies six years old or over, that win three Open or Restricted Open Heritage WHP classes affiliated to the BSPS., where the first prize is £5.00 or over, or have been placed 1st to 5th in the Mountain and Moorland WHP classes at the RIHS or the HOYS are not eligible for Novice Class 1,

      Rules for Restricted qualification in the BSPS Heritage (class 6) Any pony that has qualified for M & M Ridden Classes at the H.O.Y.S., R.I.H.S. or Olympia 2011 or the current year is not eligible for the Restricted Championship class but may enter class 6.

      Heritage Qualification. In the Open/Restricted.(Class 6) mixed class the four highest placed Restricted ponies (see above) will qualify.  Eligible competitors see above must ware an armband.

      In the Novice M&M WH (class 1) the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd placed ponies in each section will qualify,

      Open to riders who for showing purposes have not engaged in a training programme for Riders/horses/ponies,livery/buying/selling or dealing of Horses/Ponies as a means of deriving a source of income since the 1st August 2011.

      2012 P (UK) Summer Championships.

      Improve you Jumping with Carolyn Goldstraw.  Friday 6th April All standards and ages Welcome.   One hour sessions taking place between approx 10am and 1pm.  3 to 4 riders per group.   Different groups available dependent upon jumping level.

      Excellent set of jumps set on a large 60metre allweather arena.
