General Members Points Information

 

There are 2 separate points tables for 'Competition Points' and 'Training Points'

Riders are split into 3 groups by age

11yrs & Under

12-18years

Over 18 years.

The rider achieving the most points in each age group will each receive a superb presentation trophy rosette and certificate.  There will also be an additional award made to the highest runner up according to points (regardless of age).  A total of 8 awards.

 

The overall Supreme Champion will receive the Perpetual Loraks Croft Original Memorial Cup click here to read more about the Loraks Croft Trophy, a Horse Rug and Photo Portrait. This will be decided by totalling up the riders points with their highest placed horses competitions points to decide the overall winner. (see below for further details)

 

• Points are usually updated on the website within 7 days of the event. (& often a lot faster),

• Riders will only receive points from the date they became a member or renewed their membership. Points may not be back dated.

• As I am human I can occasionally make mistakes please check your points and contact me if you think there has been an error ideally within 14 days of them being posted upon the website. Not all the details are kept beyond the short term therefore without quick action I cannot guarantee a correction at a later date.

 

Members Competition Points

1. Competition Points will be awarded per horse and rider combination. In the event of a rider having more than one horse, the horse whom they have achieved the highest points with will count for the overall end of year placings.

2. Competition Points will be awarded as follows , 5 pts for attending, 6pts for 1st, 5pts for 2nd, 4pts for 3rd, 3pts for 4th, 2pts for 5th and 1pt for 6th.

3. In the event of a tie for example = 3rd each rider will receive 4pts.


Members Training Points

1. Riders will be awarded 5 Training Points per attendance.

2. In the event of a rider participating with 2 horses in two separate groups at a training session the rider will be awarded double points.

3. Any placings achieved at mini competitions within the training sessions will not count towards the members competition points.

4. In the event of a training session being cancelled by the organiser all riders who were due to attend will still be awarded points providing they are a current member on the date of the postponed or cancelled training event.

The overall Supreme Champion this year is Daniella Grimshaw on Monty who also wins the Loraks Croft Original Memorial Silver Cup, a photographic portrait and horse rug.
